FREE ADWORDS FOR NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS
[Jan 28, 2004] Google launched 'Google
Grants', a program focused on non-profit organizations
with the IRS 501(c)(3) status in the United States
(excluded religious or political ones). Contributions to this kind of organizations are tax-deductible.
Google offers them free AdWords (Google's keyword-targeted advertising system) for
keywords like e.g. 'breast cancer'. Millions of people using Google can read their ads
every day.
In addition, Google shows default ads of non-profit organizations on their AdSense advertising program.
