GOOGLME

[Oct 12, 2004] Erik Thauvin has just created a useful tool called 'GooglME'. Without any relationship with Google, this app provides an interface between the user and the new 'Google SMS' service.

Instead of remembering all the instructions we need to send an SMS petition to the search engine, 'GooglME' shows a graphical menu where we can choose looking up in Froogle, or in traditional search, ...

'GooglME' runs on mobiles with Java-J2ME which support 'MIDP' and 'WMA'. It's an open source application (here the source code), and Erik has tested it on some models, like Motorola A845, Nokia 6600 (screenshot), Nokia N-Gage or Sony Ericsson T616.
