GMAIL IS 'GOOGLEMAIL.COM' IN GERMANY
[Jul 04, 2005] When trying to create a new Gmail account in Germany, the unique
choice you can choose is 'yourname@googlemail.com' (view
capture). Usernames
previously taken in 'gmail.com' are not current available.
In addition, all Gmail accounts receive messages sent to 'myname@googlemail.com' or
to 'myname@gmail.com' (view capture).
