GOOGLE FOUNDERS WILL INVEST IN BIOETHANOL IN BRAZIL

[May 8, 2006] A few months ago, we wrote that Google founders and presidents, Larry Page and Sergey Brin, had visited Brazil in order to be in touch with their industry for the production of Bioethanol, a renewable fuel (ethanol from sugarcane) which is promoted by the government of the country.

This May, according to 'Cidade Biz', Page and Brin will open a new office in São Paulo aiming to investing in Bioethanol processing plants. Last year, they made a similar investment in the North American company Nanosolar, wich develops and produces thin solar panels.
