How to implement 'rel=nofollow'

What is the problem?
One of the most important factors for a good Search Engine Placement is getting a lot of links towards your webpage from other sites. It's more and more difficult to get these links, since you must convince other webmasters of including a reference for your pages.

However, some spammers have been including links towards their webpages by posting free messages on blogs, wiki pages or forums. These websites allow users to post their comments and suggestions, but spammers use them to get free links and try to get a better Search Engine Placement. This causes a waste of time to webmasters, as they must clean spam messages everyday.

What is the proposed solution?
The three most important Search Engines (Google, Yahoo! and MSN Search) proposed not to follow links where the 'rel=nofollow' attribute is included.

For instance, this link is followed by Search Engines:

<A href="http://www.disney.com">Disney</A>

And this link is NOT followed by Search Engines:

<A href="http://www.disney.com" rel="nofollow">Disney</A>

The next step is that webmasters implement this new attribute within the links located on the webpages where visitors can insert their own comments (and links). And pray that spammers find out that it's a waste of time inserting unsolicited links.
